TF Series Tilting Ovens – Industrial Solutions for High-Volume Open Casting
The Indutherm TF Series tilting ovens are designed for high-volume metal processing and casting in open atmospheric conditions. With crucible capacities ranging from 2 to 28 liters, they are ideal for melting and pouring metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, and steel. Their powerful 25–60 kW low-frequency induction generators provide strong stirring effects for homogeneous melts.
Technical Specifications:
Power output: 25 – 60 kW (depending on the model)
Max. temperature: 1500–1800 °C (up to 2000 °C in HTC versions)
Crucible volume: 2 – 28 liters (approx. 30 – 200 kg Cu)
Manual or motorized tilting mechanism for ergonomic and safe pouring
High-efficiency thermal insulation and electromagnetic shielding
LCD temperature control panel with 20 to 100 program memory
Temperature measurement via thermocouple and optional optical pyrometer
RS232, Ethernet, USB interfaces and remote service via DMS/Indutherm Cloud/iThermControl
The TF 2000 and TF 4000 models focus on low energy consumption and manual handling, while the larger TF 6000, TF 12000, and TF 28000 models use motor-driven tilting for high-capacity, safer operation. Their large crucible volumes allow smooth, gradual pouring with extended flow time and minimized splashing.
Application Areas:
Melting of recycled metals for refining or reuse
Batch melting before ingot, granule, or flake production
Foundry applications in art casting, bronze sculpture, and aluminum parts
High-throughput, energy-efficient industrial melting environments
The TF Series combines capacity, efficiency, and operational safety—making it a reliable solution for professional-scale open casting needs.
